Scottish Energy Forum: The UNclear NUclear Future

As a proud sponsor of the Scottish Energy Forum, Gneiss is delighted to attend the upcoming discussion covering the role of nuclear in a Net Zero Future.

The UK and many countries are considering the role nuclear could play in a Net Zero future.

On the 25th May 2023, Brian Matthews from TerraUrsa will discuss how the history of nuclear and its current challenges can be overcome with new, smaller and easier to build reactors that do more than just produce electricity.  He will also discuss how these could fit alongside renewables and if its worth the high cost and production uncertainty.
Brian is the founder and managing director of TerraUrsa, an energy and climate change consultancy. Brian has worked in the energy sector since 1997 and specialises in nuclear and renewable energy, operational leadership, energy policy and strategy, and engaging people through education.
